| Clay and Glaze Sales G and GG stoneware Cone 6-10 Shrinkage 12.5% at cone 10. This stoneware fires to a nice light gray in reduction and a off white in oxidation. It is extremely plastic and is excellent for both wheel work and hand building. This is the choice for many of our areas schools and professional potter's because of it's great firing range. This is also a nice body for raku. GG has the addition of a fine grog to help control shrinkage. DP Porcelain Cone 10 Shrinkage 12% at cone 10. This porcelain contains a mixture of grolleg and demos tic kaolins. It fires to a nice white in both oxidation and reduction. 5% Ball clay is added making this a very nice throwing body. It has been compared to Lugana's B-Mix, without many of the cracking issues. Because of the addition of helmar clay, this porcelain will flash nicely in wood firings. Grolleg Porcelain Cone 10 Shrinkage 11% at cone 10. This is a true Grolleg porcelain. It fires to a beautiful clean white in both oxidation and reduction. This clay doesn't contain any ball clay, making it very pure, but it does lack some plasticity on the wheel. Translucent were thin. ZR Raku Cone 05 Shrinkage 6.5% at cone 05 This Raku clay body contains a high percent of screened fire clay, grog, and talc to make it very thermo shock resistant. It throws and trims very easily and fire to a buff white in oxidation and black in a heavy raku reduction. This has been our primary production clay for raku for 5 years. Cone 6 Glazes Wellhouse Farm Pottery also has cone 6 glazes available for sale. All glazes are a 10000 Gram batch, filling a 5 gallon bucket to about ¾. Glazes come mixed with water, screened, specific gravity set to 50% and directions on proper application. These glazes have been on the market for 5 years and are very popular with both schools and professional potters. All glazes are food ware safe when popular fired.
